Eddie
I used to go to the 'All Night Horror' showings at the ABC cinema, and get wasted. Or go to gigs and get wasted. Or go to gigs, get wasted and then go to all-night horror movie showings and get wasted again.

Brammie Steve
I went to Spalding in 1967. (31st May) for their Barbeque '67 gig by local group 'Sounds Force Five'. My younger brother didn't join us and my older brother David spent most of the day (and evening) in a pub. I had paid a quid and intended to get my money's worth and spent the whole time right up against the raised platform which passed off as a stage but was no more than a foot off the ground. Oh, by the way, the other groups I saw that day were:- Zoot Money's Big Roll band. Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band The Move Pink Floyd Cream and....... The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Not a bad day out and I'd already bought my pressing of "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band! Reckon it was amazing I made twenty, let alone seventy. (in August anyway!). Anyway add comments please. The 76 Club could be a dangerous place if any or all of the following applied:- 1) You were male 2) You had a pulse 3) You wanted to keep that pulse 4) Your face didn't fit I never saw any big groups there. Nearest I came to seeing Dire Straits was when Mark Kn was in Brewer's Droop! I missed seeing the Stones in Hyde Park as I never got to London in time! Saw Blind Faith there though! TigerTedd
Destiny & Elite on a Thursday - all in for a tenner, get in early, and get good and pissed before the crowds. And again on Saturday. Zanzibar on a Friday and Monday for a total weekend. Before that on a Thursday shots for 30p, pints for 50p and bottles for £1 in Berlin’s. Dirty pint (double vodka and a pint of lager) pissed for £1.10, then the free bus to Time for 4 for 1 ok drinks. Occasionally pre drinks at McCluskys or Arkwrights. Then I ran out of money and pre drinks consisted of a trip to Tesco for a bottle of vodka, a 4 pack of red bull, and wwe smack down on the PS1. then I went away to uni and it had all changed and the pig and truffle had become coyote wild, (or did it become the post office) wasn’t really the same again. Now the city centre is unrecognisable. I wouldn’t know where to start.
