He's obviously an exceptional player who is going to have an amazing career, but with the increased media exposure he's getting there's more and more negative things coming to the fore. He's beloved by soccer hipsters. His stats are insane, so it stands to reason that he's belle of the ball on the type of football forums frequented by people who never go to games, barely even watch games and base their opinions on the sport on FIFA stat ratings. He appears to be a whiny bitch. See him crying about handball decisions today. Just look at him. Tell me honestly you wouldn't leave a bit extra in a challenge if you lined up opposite that.
