Bubbles
Barnsley are one of several clubs considering taking legal action against the EFL if they are relegated but Birmingham City, Derby County & Sheffield Wednesday are allowed to start next season in the Championship with a points deduction... nottingram
If teams can sue when they are wronged by other teams breaking the rules then the EFL owe us about £120m
Millenniumram
To be fair, I can see why they’d be a bit aggrieved... but it’s the way the rules are. If the decision is made after a certain date, then the punishment rolls over to next season. Everyone is aware of that, so I’m not sure where a legal challenge would stand. Who’s to say the points deduction would have relegated us anyway? We’re twelve points clear of the relegation zone at the minute.
Alph
Thanks for allowing us to start next season in the Championship. Very kind Birmingham, Derby OR Sheff Wednesday on minus points. Put it to a vote? Draw straws? Several clubs will consider legal action if they're relegated. So if they aren't relegated then they're perfectly happy with how this has all gone. Crystal clear then
