That was my point about why yesterday was so special and why the NHS/key workers should not have been mentioned . To me, yesterday was all about those who did their bit in WW2 and in 25 year’s time there will be no veterans left to show our appreciation to. As an aside, I saw on the news last night a whole street applauding a former Lancaster bomber pilot, it brought a lump to my throat, he was so humble and genuinely touched, a lovely moment for him.
