Boycie
Hector hasn’t got a great relationship with the club. Mind you, he’s a very private person, hence the reason he’s never accepted an invite to go on RamsTV.

I used to love spending Saturday afternoons at Eton Park watching Ian Storey Moore and Kevin Hector playing for Burton Albion. Both just playing for love of the game! ketteringram
Does anyone know how many league games Derby have played? I'm talking altogether, since formation.

I’ve got the programme somewhere, but I think he got clobbered for a load of expenses by the club. the bloke deserves a statue and the freedom of the city. Players got paid bugger all in those days compared to now, and he hasn’t even been given a job as an ambassador. No offence, but Johnny and mark Edworthy? And not Kevin Hector. He should get the red carpet treatment.

Gee SCREAMER !!
The game between Derby and Bolton was the first game in professional football in which a goal was scored. Derby were also the first team to score a top flight goal in the new millennium. Steve Bloomer is the second highest top flight goal scorer in history behind Jimmy Greaves and 4 goals ahead of Dixie Dean The actor Matthew McConaughey has a brother called Rooster who has two children called Miller Lyte and Margarita named after his favourite drinks. Nothing to do with Derby County but thought it may give you a chuckle and I had no where else to put it .

I knew the answer was Derby County/Branko Strupar... But I'd forgotten the question! ? For some inexplicable reason, I Googled "first ever premiership goal" which obviously wasn't it, then tried to surf from there! I'd completely forgotten the Millennium bit! What a div! You've stolen my thunder, but I only have myself to blame! ?
