If a club the size of Derby County can't field a goalkeeper better than one that Huddersfield Town don't want, then you don't have to be very smart to think that is a massive balls up ?

Literally don’t see how where he’s come from has anything to do with it. He’s pants, yes, but that logic is very flawed.

You mean Derby County the joint longest second tier team compared with recent premier league club Huddersfield??

Plenty of players that other clubs didn't want over the years turned into good players for us. He isn't very good, but your comment about being a Huddersfield reject has nothing to do with it.

Just shows how flawed these ratings are.

What does that all mean. If Roos is the 4th best keeper in the league then my word there must be some horrendous goalies in the Championship

Does it? Roos is weak at collecting crosses but every other aspect of his game is very strong.

Carson was best keeper since Poom. Why has he gone ?

Because he couldn't play the way either Lampard or Cocu wanted.

He is another player who's stock has risen considerably by not being in the team.

If I remember correctly there were many calling for his head in the months leading up to him being replaced by Roos.

A goalkeeper who can’t catch the ball is the 4th best in the league? What a load of crap stats are.

Or just maybe these stats are compiled by people who actually watch all of the other goalkeepers in the league, rather than people on a football forum who just assume our goalkeeper is the worst in the league?

Because he stopped stopping simple shots

because he stopped coming for crosses

because his distribution was slow and inaccurate

because we were paying him to much and needed to get him of the wage bill

Roos is by far a superior keeper to Hamer, can not only kick the ball with speed but accurately and a great shot stopper.

I agree - proved to be dodgy with crosses at times but better than Hamer for me overall - as for Hamer he is not ours so let’s play Roos

Have you seen a keeper at pride park this season who looks as poor as Roos collecting crosses?
