desirelines
What would we rather see this season? Rooney and co having a bash at the playoffs? Or Sibley and the youngsters lifting a cup?

SaintRam
A "bash" at the playoffs vs lifting the youth cup? I'll take the youth cup ? Moot though; we're going to win the playoffs and the youth cup; probably the FA Cup too.
Ghost of Clough
A was going to share a pic of a room full of hoes, but I don’t think that’ll be appropriate for this forum. Instead, here’s a picture of just six hoes.
Bubbles
Youth league champions, no doubt. Think of the good that will do for the youth.

Who wants another PO failure anyway, even if it does bring in some extra dosh (and potential excitement, of course)! However, if this fantasy of yours includes for the possibility of winning the PO's, then of course, the grown up's get my vote. ...As you can probably gather, I haven't, as yet, voted, and I seriously doubt I will, until such clarification is forthcoming! Rammy03
Don't get me wrong would love to see the youth lift a European cup but the playoffs are an absolute lottery and if we win them, it could change lives forever. The reward is truly extraordinary, you simply can't top it

DarkFruitsRam7
Play Offs. Every day of the week. Winning silverware with the kids is great, but the end goal is to develop players. That doesn't necessarily require us to win a particular competition.

Srg
Rather the youth team win it all, unless you're saying we go up. Another summer of building with Cocu in this league wouldn't be a disaster.

Alph
Youth Cup. That stinks of a promising future. Play Offs stinks of potential heartbreak. Premier League can wait. Look at the list of teams in the youth cup still and it seems weird us being there. To win it would be one hell of an achievement for Derby!! Both obviously but faced with an either or I'd reluctantly agree with @Alpha's appraisal. Maybe the ideal scenario would be the Youth Cup this year and the Championship next year by which time Phil may have assembled the team he wants and one that can not only reach the Prem, but stay there. TheresOnlyWanChope
No option for winning the FA cup? Winning the youth cup doesn’t necessarily mean we will suddenly have a good first team in a few years. Players still need to develop, step up and stay with the club. Would be amazing achievement though.
