Marriott hasn't been great recently, but I'm not ready to give up on him. I want to see him get a run of games...if that's possible. He's such a good finisher when he's on his game.

I like the cut of your jib in terms of Marriott he needs playing time, but I'd play Hudds over Bird...probably.

Hatter nephew’s comment this afternoon.. “well that’s 3 points to the Rams, we are a four letter word beginning with S”

If we turn up we’ll win .. if we’ve been sulking and fretting, I guess anything can happen.

I don’t like games like this they can defy logic, break rules and make me nervous ?

                        Hamer

Bogle     Wisdom   Clarke    Lowe

                     Huddlestone

Holmes          Rooney            Bird

                 Marriott   Martin

Would rest knight but have him on the bench as an option also maybe try to get Shinnie some mins

Away games call for Huddlestones experience. Deffo let Marriott start and hopefully pick up a couple of goals to gain some confidence against these.

Now we have a replay in the cup those players are going to have another chance next Tuesday. Had we won I might have been tempted to start Roos and Martin in this but my guess is they'll both be on the bench. Probably:

Hamer

Bogle     Wisdom     Clarke     Lowe

Huddlestone     Rooney

Knight     Holmes     Lawrence

Waghorn

Subs: Roos Davies Shinnie Bird Marriott Martin Whittaker

This would see Sibley miss out which I find disappointing, but Shinnie provides midfield and defensive cover so if he's fit I think he'll get the nod. If he's not ready then one of Fozzy or Malone will come onto the bench, Sibley to give midfield options and Whittaker will likely drop out - a little harsh as he did well when he came on at Northampton.

The advantage of a cup run and a draw against Man Utd starts to come into play. These players will/should all be busting a gut to play against them so will want to cement their places in the team.

although i could bet a grand on it not happening, I would love to see Trialist play tonight.

He liked one of my tweets the other day (not one he was tagged in either so he was clearly searching his own name) where I said we couldn't score in a brothel (this tweet was pre-Christmas) and we should give him a go. So either he's getting twitchy, or his chance is coming.

This is the one I'd go with. Maybe Knight in for Bird.

Owen Bradley was saying on the RamsTV feedback thread that it might be available on red button and RamsTV, but it is up to Luton whether they allow it to happen or not. RamsTV can only show it outside the UK at the moment.

Any update on this?

Do we know if this is on the red button tonight?

Not looking hopeful, presumably Luton won't grant permission as they get low crowds.

Red button list currently shows:

Cardiff v WBA

Leeds v Millwall

TBC v TBC

... so I guess there's still a chance

I thought all mid week Championship  games were available on the red button to choose from. Has that rule changed?
