Duane holmes song

Recommended Posts

I’m sick of hearing that generic blah blah get battered every where they go song...but the actual song could be made into a great football chant.

and I’ve decided Holmes deserves his own chant.

so how about

to the tune of the beautiful south-rotterham:

We could have ronaldo,

or messi,

Neymar or sancho,

but we don’t need any of em, caus we’ve got Duane holmmmmes

weve got Duane holmmmmmes.

I like it but it would fit the tune better going like this:

We could have Ronaldo

Neymar or Sancho

But we don't need any of 'em

Cause we have got Duane Holmes

We've got Duane Holmes

It's basically just a more concise version of what you've already said without the Messi bit

That doesn’t work tbh. The original goes...

Rotterdam or anywhere

Liverpool or Rome...

Not the same syllables. Mines better 😁

It’s a beautiful song that is being bastardized by morons up and down the country every week....let’s not join that moronic inbred crowd.

Let's do it to you'll never walk alone then?

Duane Holmes, Duane Holmes, with hope in his heart, he'll never Duane alone....he'll never Duane alone...

What about.

Oompa loompa doopity doo

Dwayne's going get some goals against you.

While funny; that would lead to punishment because of what the Oompa Loompas are in the original book. Got to be careful nowadays 😛

He tried the Spinball Whizzer, The Smiler, and Th13teen

But all he was duckin' big enough for, was the Night Garden Magical Boat!
