I have notoriously poor choice in music (so a lot of my friends tell me anyway) and am a long way from being a Rush or Neil Peart aficionado. I came across the album during my teenage headbanger phase in a second hand vinyl shop in Notting Hill, a good 10 years or more after its release and it's the only Rush album I own or have listened to, I think. Short, operatic and explosive, I'd never heard anything like it before or since. This particular track has always been a go-to rock out tune for me and to this day I still absolutely ducking love it and I think I always will.

Very sad news.

First saw Rush back in 1980 when i was a young whippersnapper, at Stafford Bingley Hall.

It completely blew my mind , a truly life changing experience.

Neil wasnt only an amazing drummer but also one of the greatest lyricists around, i think he also wrote some books.

" Quick to judge , quick to anger, slow to understand

 Fear ignorance and prejudice

Go together hand in hand "

" Though his mind is not for rent
Don't put him down as arrogant
His reserve a quiet defense
Riding out the day's events

No, his mind is not for rent
To any god or government
Always hopeful, yet discontent
He knows changes aren't permanent
But change is "
