Angry Ram
27 minutes ago, A Ram for All Seasons said: The German government decided to build a big office block in Bonn right next to the River Rhine when Bonn was still the capital. The foundations were designed as a concrete pontoon which would simply float in the event of flooding, and the sheer weight of the building on top would prevent it from rising up and causing any structural damage. However, the Rhine broke its banks while they were still building the foundations, the project was cancelled and they had to write off 300 million marks. The best solution is not to start building on the floodplain in the first place. A boat once sank at sea.. Best solution don't build boats that go on the sea.. Actually the wording was "concerns about her ability to understand the subtleties of intelligence briefings". What a fun start to the week - have a good one all! ? With the government wanting to shut down the BBC. MI5 should draft in Mr Tickle to help inform the Home Secretary with more simpler briefs. While Mr Maker can get children to draw some pictures to show the rest of Johnson's cabinet ministers, a couple of issues that are affecting the country. 1of4
As well as wanting to stop the underclass breeding. It appears that the tories are trying to stop them reaching pension age. Due to the government's austerity measures and the cuts to social and health care. The life expectancy age for a section of our nations women as dropped for the first time on record. Along with them raising the pension age, it appears as if this tory government are hoping to save a few quid on the amount money paid out to pensioners

Uptherams
Average life expectancy is exactly as it says. It's stalled and might even come down, almost entirely due to obesity levels.

That more women are having to work, to supplement the family income because of the effect austerity is having on their budget. That these jobs don't provide sick pay, so forcing the women to work when they are ill. So is it a coincidence that women from the lower end of our society are dying younger, probably not. Funny how it appears to have no impact on the women at the other end of the socioeconomic scale.

My post was intended to be humorous, picking up on someone's Pepper Pig line and drafting in a politician who lives in his own little patriotic world. I do have a problem with people falling back on Cod patriotism to try and make a point and win some kind of imagined argument. Like what you just did. Oh, *****, there goes me punctuation again. P.S.
