Derby blood
Once again, like most seasons, even if we are around the top 6, the boo boys love to boo and moan, today was poor, but booing 19 year old Bogle and 18 year old Knight is not on, get behind the team or stay away, today in the east stand one bloke, and he had a point told one fellow fan to shut his mouth else he will do it for him, now I am not saying that's right but some of u moaners really do push your luck, when the team are playing badly, which we are now, we all know that, we need to support the team more, and get behind them, they need confidence, playing youth at pp is a big risk, because us fans can kill there confidence with the booing and moaning, my message is a simple one support us or do one. Yeah totally agree it you've nothing positive to shout just keep your thoughts to yourself the young lads probably dreamt of the moment they got to play in the first team lets not make them dread it . Ramslad1992
I didn't boo the players or their performance today but I didn't clap either, booing achieves nothing and makes things worse. I do appreciate why people are frustrated though.

rammieib
I actually think booing helps to make a point to the players but more notably the management team in the dugout and the directors box exactly how we feel about the tactics and results. I think boos are genuinely more aimed at these two points rather than when players do individual things. Do I think it helps the players? Not one bit but will sitting there as a happy Clapper (or a silent clapper) allow a fan to convene their opinion...nope.
RamNut
There are a lot of people saying that the mood in the East Stand is pretty bad. Too excitable.....too aroused no such problems in the West Stand. we're..... Too polite Seen it all before. We just don't get that excited We don't have to take our clothes off to have a good time! (P.s.we can't get our socks off)
Millenniumram
Think there’s two sides to the booing myself. I think booing the team off at full time/ half time if they haven’t put 100% in is justified. Not just if we’ve lost, but if the players genuinely haven’t given it their all. I think that has been the case the last couple of home games, so no problems from me on the booing in that respect. Obviously some will join in, some Won’t, that’s your choice, but I think it’s a fair cop when these players aren’t even giving the paying fans the respect of at least putting in some fight on the pitch, which they really aren’t right now. Absolute disgrace the lack of respect they’re showing to their manager and the fans with these half arsed efforts, and they deserve the boos that come their way. During the game however is more of a different story. The constant moaning at every backwards pass really doesn’t help matters. Fans need to understand that sometimes it’s the best move to make. But some fans are stuck in the 1980s, and it’s been that way for a long while, so I can’t see the constant shouts to SHOOOOT and GERRRIT FORWARD changing anytime soon. But it really doesn’t help, all it does is induce panic. People need to realise that. I didn’t see any abuse at individuals from where I was, but if that’s been happening, then that’s obviously wrong too. The team as a collective has been letting everyone down. Andicis
Fans won't boo if they see effort being made and everything left out there. They deserved to be booed at half time. The first half display was shocking. The players don't need babying. It's football, they have to be able to deal with a tough crowd, if not, then they are in the wrong job. But booing young lads from the academy is wrong, Bogle in that first half was scared to make a mistake due to some half wits shouting abuse at him, it helps no one. No you cant differentiate like that. Boo Davies but absolutely not Bogle! One or the other. He can pick up a few grand each week he'd better be able to tolerate some moaning

Well that's football. Maybe it is wrong, but it won't stop. Making this post won't stop it. They have to learn from it and become mentally resilient from it. No point in focusing on theoreticals that aren't realistic.

Or maybe he choose to have a go at this fan who had paid to watch a game instead of directing at those on the pitch who were causing his raised blood pressure. Maybe it's ok to give a random stranger verbal abuse but not a football player one. ? Maybe these players should choose another profession if a bit of barracking becomes to much. I would suggest a monastery where they can have silence and contemplation away from the nasty supporters who make life such a misery for them . No point them moving club as it's twice as bad at most grounds out there.

You talk a load of crap, us and Arsenal are one of the worst, today having a go at Bogle was a disgrace, and some on this forum, was saying before a ball was kicked that the young players would get 100 percent backing, we should all come to support the team for 90 minutes then have a go afterwards , on the way home or in the pubs, enough said now, we all have our options on how we should support a club we love. Thanks for the constructive feedback and avoiding the point. I assume you've been too all the league grounds to be so certain we have one of the two shittiest support bases in the country. Maybe if that's your opinion don't bother yourself. Perhaps that bloke who was sat at the ground today had a real crap week . Maybe he was hoping to have a nice afternoon at the footy and got abused for getting a bit frustrated . Perhaps he may feel the need to move seats because it's ok for you and a few others to be atmosphere vigilantes. Bogle has been a first team player for 18 months by the way. I've had a lot of experience handling footballers at there worst and they couldn't give a hoot at age 19 about the occasional comment . Sure he's having a great night and not bothered at all.
