I used to like Begovic, no idea what standard he's at now, but I'd still back him to be better than what we have even if he's half of what he was during his time at Stoke. It's definitely a yes from me.

Only 32 but reportedly on £60k a week, why don’t we just cancel Carson’s loan if we are in for Begovic?

Personally wasn’t sure we needed a new goalie a while back, but now with Roos confidence shot and us pissing around with Hamer, I think it’s probably a priority now in January. Need a proper quality no1 that we can rely on and trust. Begović though, I’m not so sure about. Lost his place in Bournemouth’s side to a 21 year old who’d never played at championship level, yet alone the prem. Then ended up being shipped out on loan to Qatar of all places. Think he’s long past his best myself, but equally the sun is about as reliable as Waghorn at holding the ball up, so think this is a non story.

I know it's only Azerbaijan, but at Qarabag this season he's only conceded 5 goals in 10 games and kept 6 clean sheets, so he's clearly still got enough about him to do well at a certain level. No idea what level the Azerbaijan Premier League is, though.

Can he catch a football? If so get him signed.

That was a loan.

He's definitely a Bournemouth player, no idea what they paid but he signed a fairly long contract.

Luckily Bosnian bookies, 24 Black, have opened up talks on a sponsorship opportunity that would consequently pay us £50k-a-week. Begovic will wear the number 24.
