peachmyster Posted December 2, 2019 Share Posted December 2, 2019 Former Derby County manager Frank Lampard has had his Chelsea squad boosted by the return to training of talented midfielder Marco van Ginkel - and Rams fans are hopeful of a January pursuit for the Blues man. Van Ginkel played under current Derby boss Phillip Cocu at PSV Eindhoven, wearing the captain's armband as they clinched the Eredivisie title in 2017-18. A serious knee injury suffered in July 2018 means the 26-year-old has not played a competitive match since that campaign - but he is back training with Chelsea.
