Just as he's started to play how we knew he was capable of. Ducking Yates! What a huge shame and unless he plays Evans in there and leaves Bielik in midfield I think we will struggle.

Was a booking for sure although Lawrence can count himself very lucky is was not red

It was a red card. At minimum a yellow with a warning that if he even looks at somebody funny for the rest of the game he’s gone. About ten minutes later he kicked the ball at Lawrence while he was lay on the ground.

Lawrence’s was a red card as well although he was fouled twice in the build up to it.

Possibly very disappointing news and we will see.

Forsyth playing centre half for the under23s may start to be considered  along with Wisdom but please start Belick in midfield

every chance we will use the transfer window in January to bring in a Centre half ( tell Rooney to fetch Phil Jones from Man U - has to be better than what we have available)

Don’t quite get sending off for lawrence, it was a 50/50 ball he was stretching for, after being fouled, and caught the player. He was entitled to go for it and caught the player who got their first. It wasn’t reckless and there was no intent to hurt the player. Nasty yes, but it’s football and it happens. Got booked and you move on.

The ref was appalling so it would have been no surprise if he had sent him off. But it was nothing like the foul on Clarke which the ref totally ignored, as did the Sky commo crew. I thought then well okay if he treats all challenges like that the same, bit of course he didn't.

That'll be a big blow if Clarke is out for a period of time. We really are having a torrid season so far!

Cocu needs to resist the urge to disrupt two areas of the team in bringing Beilik back and focus on Wisdom, Evans or even Fozzy for that CB slot and then strengthen in Jan. The less disruption the better just as we are stating to put together some performances!

You have to allow for the fact lawrences challenge was 50% worse because it was committed by tom lawrence

The Yates challenge is bad, the only thing that saves him is I think he pulls out very slightly but that doesn’t help Clarke unfortunately. A stupid unnecessary challenge that should have been a booking and had him on watch by the ref, instead he just got a ‘steady on’ style talking too. Ref was poor throughout and had no control on the game, essentially let forest play an aggressive style. Sky...sometimes you have your Derby biases in these situations, but some of the comments about Lawrence first half were uncalled for at the very least. Derby were the better side first half but they couldn’t even acknowledge that we were in the game. It’s beyond odd.

Yet everything will change once Rooney comes on board, and the media bias will swing back towards Derby, as it did under Lampard.

I get your point but it’s frustrating in a game against your local rivals that you’re having to tune into it’s hugely frustrating to listen to

You probably won't have heard the dive the F*rest player made late second half, trying for a penno. Just ignored by the ref entirely, as was the handball in their box first half.
