Rev
In a saintram style. Longish pass out finds Sibley, who advances 20yds, ignores the obvious pass out wide, flicks a pass over the last line of defence 5 yds outside the box, which Stretton finishes with aplomb by lifting it over the keeper from 15yds. He’s played a couple of good passes and has blonde hair, ergo Will Hughes.

JM-L born 17-Sept-1999 Whittaker born 07-Jan-2001 Ebosele born 02-Aug-2002, so he's actually just younger than Tyree Wilson (13-June-2002) who's probably the player his progress could better be measured against. Andicis
Surely Sibley has to be pushing for a few games for the first team? He looks at a different class for this level.

I think you have to consider the standard they played at, at the same age. Hughes was playing men's football at the same age, if he was coming through now he'd probably not trouble the first team on anything like the same basis. When I say style, I mean playing style and not ability. From the small bits I've seen of Sibley, he's a lot more direct than Hughes and loves to run at the defence, whereas Hughes was more of a playmaker. My point, badly made no doubt, was maybe Hughes was the same at youth level, and had to change his game when stepping up. Maybe Sibley will have to change too, or maybe he is a completely different style of player.
