Heading to be banned?

No.

It may seem like an over reaction, but football is already becoming something of a parody of itself. This would just be the final straw.

The research conducted on linking heading with dementia is sketchy. I'd love to know what their explanation for the fact that women suffer from the condition far more than men. Also, as others have already pointed out, the balls currently being used are so much lighter than the ones used by the people in their data samples.

A lot softer too which probably has more of an impact than the weight of the ball itself
