When you actually go back to the link that opened this thread it’s from “ Team Talk” who are about as reliable as Craig Forsyth on a bad day! It also states we’ve just “checked on him” which you’d expect but to get agitated about the mere possibility of signing him based on pure speculation shows how desperate some fans are for any semblance of transfer business, whether good or not ?

Jephcott at Argyle Plymouth Ram ? Thoughts?

Ryan Lowe (Argyle Manager) rates him very highly. Been with the club since he was 15. Born in Wales but brought up in Cornwall. Turns 21 later this month. He gets most of his goals inside the 6 yard box where he seems to have a natural knack of losing his marker. Recently picked up U21 caps for Wales having played U19s previously. Basically an out and out goalscorer who is scoring nearly 50% of his shots at goal. I think he could step up to Championship football, with him currently shining in a mid table league one team.

I doubt it, if they do they probably ignore it. The trouble is, a lot of fans that come on the forum will always have a negative view on players that are in their early 20's that are playing for Scottish or lower English league teams. Stating comments like "unproven" "too much of a gamble" "If he's that good, how come no big club have not snapped him up". Well, there are loads who slip through the net, or are late developers. Jamie Vardy is a good example for Leicester and there's lots of others.

Completely out of form since his injury.

He might be looking for a move in January but he's not what Derby are looking for at the moment.

That explains why the thread on Sam Cosgrove isn't talking about Sam Cosgrove (or rather, it doesn't explain....)
