Yes but someone with a High pass accuracy hasn’t always played better in possession than a player with a Lower one- he could have made a lot of safe passes, but messed up the important ones. Which is exactly what Martin did on Saturday. As I say, not having a go as he was obviously knackered, but it’s what happened.

Never let stats overrule what you can see with your own eyes.
