David
Peterborough director of football Barry Fry has not ruled out the possibility of George Boyd remaining at London Road next season. Boyd has already revealed his desire to seal a permanent move to Championship rivals Nottingham Forest, where he had a spell on loan this season, while Ipswich, Derby and Middlesbrough are also thought to be interested in securing the 24-year-old's services. But Fry will not let one of his star strikers leave on the cheap and will only let him go if the right offer comes in. Fry told the Peterborough Evening Telegraph: "The chairman, manager and myself are all agreed that George will not be going anywhere if we don't receive a bid that matches our valuation of him. "There are clubs interested in signing him, but so far none have offered us enough to make us want to sell. And, believe me, if that situation does not change George will play for us next season. "We are all determined to have a real go at getting back into the Championship and we will have a better chance with him than without him." http://www.teamtalk.com/derby-county/6150724/Fry-keen-to-keep-Boyd-at-Peterborough
