Have a feeling this thread is going to just turn out to be "George Thorne watch 2019/20" with the occasional picture of sightings of Carson wandering around the Man City training centre

Maybe they'll give him a game against Watford later in the season.

Alex Babos is registered and available for selection for FC United's game against Warrington Town tonight. http://www.fc-utd.co.uk/story.php?story_id=8498 FC United play in the Northern Premier League.

This is a low standard for one of our older youth players. Feel for Alex as he's never quite been able to make the breakthrough from academy to man's football. He has to absolutely dominate at this level if he's to have a future with us. Did think he looked good in the highlights against Man City U23s.

Meanwhile, congratulations to Max Hunt who scored Aldershot's only goal last night in a 1-3 home defeat to Yeovil Town. He equalized from a corner. Good to see Derby players scoring from set pieces!

Looking at the Oxford forum everyone is saying how good George Thorne looked before his injury. I've not seen footage but there's a comment that describes it as a "nasty challenge". Fingers crossed for him. Some reports it's "shoulder" not "arm".

Shoulder would make more sense. Surely you don't stop playing just for a broken arm?
