Van der MoodHoover Posted September 11, 2019 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Was the loan till January our choice or imposed by brizzle? if the former then it suggests that we weren’t dying in a ditch to sign him - more of a “give him a couple of months and it might turn out ok” scenario. which is fine for managing downside risk but looks like we weren’t that optimistic about upside. He's now had a relatively good few chances and has he managed to cross the ball past the first man very often, or beat his man, etc...doesn't track back much (think of the stick Lawrence gets). He looks for pass thats not on and sometimes he needs to take players on look to knock through a players leg and charge pass that player or sometimes he takes to many players and then thats when he loses the ball. He doesn’t strike me as being someone who knows what he will do next. Paterson is a smarter player.
