Tuesday 13 August.

7:45 kick off.

Guess the big question is play the kids or go for a bit more consistency? Anybody know Phil's history with cup competitions?

Hopefully one or two of the squad will get minutes under their belt to build fitness.

BOOOOO!

Ban him! Ban him! Ban him! Ban him!

Is this game being shown on TV or streamed anywhere? Doesn't look to be on RamsTV, and the fixture's got the Pitch International symbol next to it on the website, but I don't know who exactly is showing it.

ESPN+   so on computer  (4.99) per  month, and you get every game when they are

shown live on sky!

The right back situation looks rough, but it will be a good chance to get some of the players looking for fitness into the side: Roos; Lowe, Keogh, Clarke, Malone; Bielik, Shinnie, Dowell; Bennett, Marriott, Paterson.

Bateman could well fill in at RB and Lowe gets a chance at LB. We need to hope that Bogle’s injury isn’t too bad, otherwise we may want to look at a free agent coming in for a few months, assuming Wisdom isn’t close to fitness.

Plan B

The Iron's restaurant will be open ahead of the Iron’s home Carabao Cup first round clash against Derby County on Tuesday, August 13th (7.45pm kick-off).

We have a choice of three pies on offer for the tie with the Rams, with a two-course package available for the game.

For the full package, including a hospitality seat, adults will be paying just £29.50 adults, £25.50 seniors and £19.50 for Under-18s.

To book a space in the restaurant for this game, call 01724 747684 or email sales@scunthorpe-united.co.uk.

Sit down job of pie, mash, peas and a pudding  with proper metal knives and forks and them napkin thingys plus a ticket for less than £30 .....................seems reasonable!
