I’m all for giving Cocu time but I’m the summer window he has to be more strict with Mel and the recruitment team to get signings done. weve thrown money at players and lost out we’ve took too long on players and lost out we need to find a balance inbetween. Tamworthram Posted January 16, 2020 Share Posted January 16, 2020 I know we shouldn't care too much about other clubs but, for anyone going into meltdown because we haven't signed a player yet, as far as I can see (BBC website) none of these championship clubs have signed one yet: WBA, Leeds, Brentford, Forest, Wednesday, Millwall, Bristol, Cardiff, Blackburn, Reading, Birmingham, Stoke or Luton. Rampage Posted January 18, 2020 Share Posted January 18, 2020 Seems unlikely to me that we can win the case against EFL. However I would not want to take on Mel. He must have weighed the risks and been advised that he was ok to proceed. We will see. Worst scenario is the day after we qualify for the Play Offs, we get docked 9 points and it drags on to appeal. Not saying we don’t need better but we have too many square pegs in round holes we need to Move on first.
