Not the end of the world. Take point and move on. Early days. One of those games not to lose.

Disappointed with Waggy and Malone.

Malone was ducking terrible

his use of the ball was embarrassing Today

poor decision making in the final third and Waggy had an off day

Wasn’t over enamoured with Lawrence, Dowell or pattison, flashes from Dowell but seemed to be on the periphery (which was the impression I had of him pre coming here).

keogh and Clark looked excellent and I thought hudds knitted things together nicely

point and a clean sheet ... we move on

Zoon and Paterson are our only wingers. Lawrence is a number 10 even if managers keep playing him on the wings. Bennett also not a winger.

Yes but Cocu decided that they would be good enough for the season so don't understand the OP's point

Malone Hudd & Waghorn very poor today. Too slow in our build up play, we will look much better when Bielik is in the middle. Roll on Holmes & Bielik being back in the squad

Positives - still unbeaten, clean sheet & much better than our last 2 openers at home vs Wolves & Leeds

Looking forward to getting Bielek and Holmes in this team.

THIS!

What we're lacking right now, these two will bring in bucket loads. Bielik will add mobility and better passing, as well as cover for the back four, whereas our Duane will add those attacking runs that take us from the midfield to the final third, allowing the likes of Dowell, Lawrence and Waggy to focus more on getting into goalscoring positions.

The sooner they're in, the better!

Just hoping Bogle is OK so Max Lowe can get a run at left-back, too.

Don't penalties count?

Huddlestone slow? Never

Lack of creativity against a team that plays quite open was very disappointing. We looked very short on the bench on players who could come on and give us that bit of quality we needed.

4 points is ok, but we didn’t look great today, early days though.
