Unless it gets to January 1st and we're 17th in the table, at which point he pulls out of the whole deal because it would do more harm than good to his brand to be associated with an unsuccessful team, we lose all the additional sponsorship money, fall foul of FFP,  end up a complete laughing stock and what was supposed to be an immense show of ambition actually puts us under, sending the club to new depths that we never really recover from, seeing out eternity in League Two or lower.

Blimey, Coconut...

That's a bit deep.

I suppose a lot depends on how the team is playing in December / Early Jan but I wonder how and when his first appearance will be played.

Sub on 60 minutes in first eligible game ?

I’ve got this dream that we are 2 up, looking comfortable and Wayne comes on to a bit of razzamatraz, scores one and sets up number 4

Given the number of different positions he can play, unless we have a stormer the last game in December, someone will probably have played poorly enough to be dropped for him. He’ll start against Barnsley.

Sky TV hopes he plays, think he will start and score from a free kick.

They’ll have wasted a fixture if he doesn’t, can’t imagine the tv audiences for a game involving Barnsley would be that big! Let’s hope so.

Can Wayne be expected to cope with the excitement or will the occasion prove too much for him?

It’s true tbf, playing in front of old Trafford is small fry compared to being faced with the west stand ultras... we’ll find a way to boo him soon enough ??

I mean, you got the fact we were 17th in the table right. Great prediction.
