Today I Learned

Recommended Posts

Paper shredders are great. Bought one today and I’m going round the house finding any bit of paper lying around and shredding it. Even the dog thinks it’s a great game, loves it.

Tell that dog of yours not to wear a tie whilst shredding.  Just sayin'

Today I learned Macaulay Culkin did a vote for a new middle name, and legally changed his name to Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin.

last year I learned he has a band that only sings songs about Pizza.  They played at rock city and cancelled there UK tour after people started throwing pints of beer at them .

Tonight I learned that I do.actually quite like white wine, after years of thinking I hated it. An old lady gave me a bottle after I'd done a little job for her and usually I just pass these things on to Mrs P but tonight I decided to try it.

But I also learned that a bottle of white wine takes me approximately 35 minutes to drink and I don't even think I was drinking fast - so I'd probably better stay away from it.

And sweet corn ice cream is the best I ever tasted. But I learned that 11 years ago. Not today. Never found it anywhere since.

Doesn't that tell you something?

The medical term for snegma is just... smegma, there is no fancy medical terminology involved.

Not something I've ever had thankfully, I'm a clean boy!

Smegma translates from the ancient Greek for clean.
