JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta
So based on this thread so far we have simultaniously been good, indifferent and bad. The young players are also simultaniously quite good and quite bad. Excellent.
Shang
If Anya was playing in this set up with people who could actually find him he could contribute this season
David
2 young CM’s looking to breakthrough, one a blonde English lad, the other an Irish lad. We’ve been here before haven’t we?

Buchanan, Lowe, Sibley and Knight have been fantastic.
dcfcfan1
Think our CB, Keeper and lack of creativity in final third will be were we fall short unfortunately, lots of possesion and promise though!

Jourdan
Surely this first team/second team split should have been the other way around? The youngsters playing the majority of the game v Burton and the first team playing the majority of the game against better opposition tonight... Makes more sense to me. Thierry Ennui
Enjoyed this. It was almost impossible to draw any conclusions from it, however!
BarrowRam
We need to remember it’s a friendly and Cocu wants to give as many players as much game time as he can.

If you were expecting Barcelona more fool you for piddling your money up the wall. In either case i fail to see why we should be wrist slashing about our performances in pre season friendlies. MaltRam
Watched the second half, all the ball and never tested the keeper. Bit disappointed. Only a friendly though, so no drama.

I think ultimately it prooved the youngsters are not as good as people would like to believe. Sibley and knight apart serious money needs throwing at this team in the next few days
irobinson
Sibley and Lowe look nearer the first team massive difference when the big lad comes on Keough, Waggy, Hudz, Malone, Lawrence and Bogle all look set - and will start at Rangers

Rangers is the proper 1st team run out and is in less than 3 days, which is a bit too quick a turn around for the best team to get a full game tonight. Plus, if the 1st team only got 15 mins v Burton, that would've meant only 15 mins game time in about 10 days, which isn't enough. 75 mins, then 15 mins then the full 90 makes sense to me, at least

Shang
From the game we need: A keeper but could make do with Roos, but be prepared for a few dodgy passes. A centre back, but Evans looks nailed on for first choice with Keogh.
DcFc Dyycheee
Loads better, as expected, when the changes were made. Waggy looked very sharp, as did Lawrence. Sibley is a proper star. He's ready for the first team. Again, as with the other games, clear where we need to strengthen. Still 4 or 5 players short.
