If you could give one piece of advice to Phillip Cocu what would it be?

Could be about a player, tactics, the club, the fans, the Championship, dealing with Bielsa or even living in Derby.

What would you tell him?

Don't listen to us.....

If he wants to get the fans on his side, he just needs to do the following:

He has to play a fluid, entertaining 433 formation. And we always have to have 2 strikers up front.

We need someone up front who can hold the ball up. And also Marriott has to start every game.

We need to pick a first XI and stick with it. We also need a plan B, C, D and E, that we use regularly to keep them fresh.

We need a team full of experienced players who know the championship well. And we also need to blood the youngsters from the academy.

Chris Martin and George Thorne need to start every game. Also, Chris Martin and George Thorne need to never wear a Derby shirt again.  (And no, playing them both shirtless doesn't resolve this.)

I am so pleased that Mel hasn't spoken to you about the vacancy.

As a fanbase we're mostly passionate idiots - Focus on winding us up on game day and ignore the whining in between

started off so well but that last sentence is just pathetic and uncalled for.

Not until the new manager is officially announced...........I’m stuck in my ways!

But you still have the Chelsea manager as your avatar... on a DCFC forum!

Leaving it blank is better than having an oppo manager!  You're weird!

If I could offer one point up to Cocu, or any Derby manager:-

Always, always, always play to win, do this by playing attackingly. It's far easier to storm into a 3 goal lead than it is to claw one back (although we've managed both!).

Our team is not very good under pressure and parking the bus, so just go gung ho.

Think you need to re-read the whole post

not really. Even though the rest may or may not have been good advice, it was said from a positive point of view, not negatively vindictive against two good honest professionals who've put their body on the line and performed for this club.
