I reckon his first act will be to order a drugs test for that one with the mad eyes and to try to find out what likeusay means.

When meeting the players he'll be modest enough to tell Duayne Holmes that there's no need to kneel.

After that he'll have a laugh with Chris Martin about his comedy 'running through treacle' routine, but say it's now time to for him to start running at full speed.

Yeah yeah, but thats no excuse for forgetting your insoles though is it? ?

One of my mates forgot to wear socks one day when he had a 5-6 week old - That's about the same right? On another day he turned up at the wrong office (they'd moved offices 6 months previously)

It's the fashion now, no socks and having sweaty feet.

Just looking through YouTube, whilst out in Turkey his interviews were in English with a Turkish translator. Quick teaser of what to expect after a defeat.

Bit of a lengthy interview when he arrived at Fenerbahce if you fancy it.

Little list of potential players we could look at:

GK: Marco Bizot (AZ Alkmaar) caught my eye this season, particularly the latter. AZ had an excellent season last, qualifying for the Europa League. Would be hard to peel him away from a chance to play in Europe, but seeing as we're about to hire Phillip bloody Cocu as our new manager, I'm kinda feeling like anything is possible.

RB: Bart Nieuwkoop (Feyenoord) seemed to lose his place a lot to Cuco Martina. Class right-back and at 23 he's still a good age.

CB: Sven van Beek (Feyenoord) would be my number one choice. Thought he would progress the way De Ligt has a few years ago. Solid at the back, decent enough pace and good with the ball at his feet. He's valued at around 3m euros which, when you compare to the fact that Tomas Kalas has just gone for £8m, I would say is a god damn schteeeel! Has had injury issues, however.

CM: Quite a few here so I won't go into very much detail. Jorrit Hendrix (PSV) might be out of our reach, but he's a PSV wonderkid who I'd love to see here if we could afford him (valued at 7m euros). Guus Til (AZ) would be a class signing, too. Combative central midfielder who, despite being only 21, is the captain of AZ. I'd also love us to look at Joris van Overeem (FC Utrecht). He started off as an attacking midfielder but evolved into a more defensive role. Was a big fan of him during his time at AZ. You've also got Bart Ramsalaar (PSV), Morten Thorsby (Heerenveen), and young Deroy Duarte (Sparta Rotterdam) would also be excellent additions, especially Duarte. I think he'll go far in the game.

Wingers: Charly Musonda (on loan at Vitesse from Chelsea ?) looked decent on the right. Prying Sam Larsson (though unlikely) from Feyenoord would be fantastic, if we could. Dennis Johnsen (Ajax) is an exciting young winger we could take on loan. Dabney dos Santos (Heracles) is another young talent we could look at too. He's rapid and has a lot of raw talent, but hasn't taken flight yet really.

Strikers: Number one target here would be Sam Lammers (PSV), no doubt about it. He went out on loan to Heerenveen this season and scored 16 goals (making 5 assists in the process). He scored a shed load of goals for Jong PSV (30 in 63 games) and, at 22, he is one of the serious top talents in the Dutch league. I'm pretty sure all our new coaching staff will be aware of this guy (with the obvious PSV connection) so I would not be surprised to see us go all out for him. He'd also fit perfectly into the style of 4-3-3 Cocu will bring. This guy should be our No.1 target from the Eredivisie.

To summarise, the main players I'd love to see Derby go for (from the Eredivisie) are:

- Sven van Beek (CB - Feyenoord)

Guus Til  (CM - AZ ANot sure Ramage will be happy with most of those naemlkmaar)

Joris van Overeem (CM - FC Utrecht)

Deroy Duarte (CM - Sparta Rotterdam)

Sam Larsson (LW/RW - Feyenoord)

Sam Lammers (ST - PSV)

Hope this helps ?

Not sure Ramage would be very happy with most of thise names. Perhaps he can get some tips form Schteeve

http://sportwitness.co.uk/ernest-faber-likely-follow-philip-cocu-Derby-county-despite-greek-interest/

SDNA.Gr reports Greek club OFI are in the market for a head coach and are interested in bringing in PSV’s academy manager Ernest Faber. However, the Dutchman could join Phillip Cocu’s staff at Derby County.

After allowing Frank Lampard to negotiate with Chelsea, the Championship side are looking for his replacement and are very close to appointing the former Fenerbahce manager as his successor.

SDNA claims OFI are looking to offer Faber their top job but it’s believed he will be part of Cocu’s backroom staff at Derby County.

Faber had spells as a manager with Dutch clubs FC Groningen and NEC Nijmegen before joining PSV.

Yesterday, we covered claims from Holland that Twan Scheepers will be Cocu’s assistant at Derby County, as the former Netherlands international looks to bring in his own backroom staff.

Cocu has been out of the game since his disastrous reign as the Fenerbahce manager last season.

Not ploughed through all the posts, so not sure if this has been posted before, but an article about what went wrong for Cocu at Fernabace

https://www.dailysabah.com/football/2018/10/02/cocu-not-only-to-blame-for-fenerbahces-downfall

Sounds like Cocu wanted time to develop the squad, change the way they played etc but they had an impatient new owner, and the players quickly succumbed to the pressure of not winning every week.

Maybe there's more to Wassell leaving with Frank than we thought? Faber to take over the running of the academy and to link to the first team?
