Taribo
Dean Sturridge’s girlfriend lived opposite a mate of mine’s mum in Willington. Steve Elliott’s old house backed on to the park, one time we had to knock-on and ask if we could have the ball back please mister. (He either wasn’t in or just didn’t answer) I went to school with Simo Valakari’s son and Stefano Eranio’s kids babysitter.

sage
Ronnie Webster's lad was in the same class as me. When we were 8 we took us for PE (football) for 6 weeks. After the first lesson he told the class teacher that I was the first name on his teamsheet. It might be as well that he never went into management with judgement like that. I've seen Bloomer in the bakers, Johnny Morris at the zoo, Boulton in Alvaston, and Hector in the house. Then there was Wee Willie in his nightgown, and Roger from behind. I saw The Tin Man at the cinema, and Marco playing polo. Bumped into Burton in a menswear shop, and Seth up t' top field (He was stood next to Beck, at the foot of Gordon Hill). There was Grant at the distillery, Commons at Wimbledon, Blades in Sheffield, Cork in Ireland, and Camp in Go Outdoors. I've seen Carbon, and his identical twin. Crooks in prison (Freeman waited outside), and Davison on his Harley. Then there was Durban in South Africa, Wisdom at the dentist, Winnall at the casino, and Ward at the hospital. I was in the same class as Junior, and Dickov was at the same clinic as me, but neither of us like to talk about that! Had me thinking. where are they now. King Kev seems to be ageing well. Maestro
Met Deon Burton, Eric Steele, Martin Taylor, Mart Poom and John O'Hare at various end of season football presentations. Told Deon Burton my mum liked his arse after she saw him dancing when he scored for Jamaica. Took family photographs of Marcus Tudgay and his family at a summer fair. Reg Harrison took my team for several training sessions and was proper hard on us. Worked with Ted McMinns wife who got him to sign his testamonial programme for me when she found out I was a Derby fan. Played against Nigel Clough's son in U9s football with him watching on the sidelines and played against Lewin Nyatanga at other age levels. Saw Chris Martin shopping in Asda with his family and saw Darren Moore casually walking through Intu. Saw Frank Fielding, Lee Croft and Steven Davies in Revos. Told Fielding he will be in the England squad, Croft he is our best player and Davies that he would get 20+ that season. I was very drunk and this was after we lost 3-1 to Bristol City. jimbo jones
When I was a kid back inthe late 90s. My dad was manager of the Mickleover All Stars team I played for, one year at end of season presentation we had Paulo Wanchope giving out the awards, our assistant manager knew Dave Mackaay and had invited him down. So I found myself stood at the bar with my dad whilst he had a chat with Wanchope & Mackaay...which was pretty cool. Wanchope didn’t hang around long but Mackaay stayed for a couple of pints. cannable
Saw Ramage, Gibson, Don Goodman and others at Fulham as well. Ramage spoke to us. Oh and there’s the time I got the plane home with the whole squad. Keogh was instigating conversation with fans rather than vice versa

BodminRam
OK you lot, this is true , the one and only Brian Clough knocked my mum over one evening in his car, she told me he quickly got out of his car and politely asked if she was ok, she was thank god, she couldn't wait to tell me.
