Hotel booked! Next stop tickets. Any ideas on allocation I reckon 5k or so.... first time in Glasgow so looking forward to finding where everyone is drinking beforehand

Can’t go wrong up sauchiehall street mate.

Or if you fancy Rangers boozers with a cracking atmosphere go to the louden, blue star club, orange halls, grapes the union bar wee rangers club  or NN10.

Personally I’d go to the louden good tunes and a cracker of a beer garden 2 mins from the ground.

Brighton away in the cup was £35 so I wouldn’t expect the cost to double for Glasgow.

Pride Park to Amex Brighton 190 miles

Pride Park to Wembley 123 miles

67 miles further, and assuming the added cost for Wembley was parking?

Pride Park to Ibrox is 287 miles

97 miles longer than a trip to Brighton, but we’ve already seen 67 extra miles doesn’t cost more.

Maybe £40 tops, which is still a lot cheaper than the train. Not sure I would fancy a return coach trip to Glasgow in a day though.

These are just rough estimates..

A bus doing long distance = 10mpg

Cost per gallon = £5.85

Distance = 287 x 2 = 574m

Number of passengers = 52

Cost of Driver for a day = £500

Cost of coach hire = £500

There for 574/10 = 57.4 gals

57.4 x £5.85 = £335.8

£335.8 + £500 + £500 = £1335.8

£1335.8/52 = £25.68 per person
