Coneheadjohn
I’d go Rowett 2 as manager,Clement 2 as assistant and Pearson 2 as DOF just to see how quickly it went wrong.

Archied
I’m in the hughton camp unless there is a real surprise coming in from left field with a big promotion bonus ,, as stated earlier not gerrard for me as if he is prepared to jump ship on rangers now then I don’t want him
EnigmaRam
Whoever it is it has to be someone reputable enough and plays attractive football for any potential Chelsea loans to come as part of a deal/handshake from Franks lampards Chelsea.

ram1964
Could snatch Bielsa from Leeds and sack him on the 40 th day just for the he'll of it?
CornwallRam
Hughton is head and shoulders above all other candidates. I don't recognise the 'ugly football' thing - his Newcastle and Brighton sides were free flowing attacking teams in the Championship. He's twice achieved promotion, the last time doing exactly what he needs to here - taking a decent squad and giving them the consistency to get promoted. He also carries himself with integrity and dignity - he'd be a manger we could be proud of. That said, I'd be very surprised if it were him. I heard a while back that the reason Lampard was appointed was that Mel thought having a 'name' in charge would raise the profile of the club with potential investors. I can't see why that would have changed - and Lampard certainly raised our profile. The pattern looks to be continuing with our sounding out of Gerrard. I suspect that we'll go for another big name player. Maybe Gerrard or Giggs. I wouldn't rule out Phil Neville or Paul Scholes. I reckon the most likely is Ashley Cole. kingsy1884
Imo it has to be Hughton. He had done it as this level and his teams played very well. Maybe a bit defensive in the prem but it worked.

You know, I sort of thought the same, it was an odd comment. If Frank and he were talking as mates do then it’s a maybe and he’s grown up a lot from his bad boy days. .... Would be a heck of a gamble and has he got his badges ? I wouldn’t mind, too many dull gritty ones about, none of who stand out as anything other than average.
