The only way Cocu would come is if we were going to back him significantly, only way that would happen is if a takeover or investment was imminent.

If Cocu is a possibility, I wonder if Steve McLaren being spotted at Morley Hayes has anything to do with it? Could he be acting as middle man with his Dutch connections?

Whaaaaat???? When, by whom ? I can’t keep up ?

If we can’t get Phillip Cocu, maybe we could ask comedian Mark Heap?

That raised eyebrow has put me off to be honest.

He might have some kind of split personality.

i think we should move on.

I thought I'd have a little nosey to see what PSV fans were saying about Cocu towards the end of his reign.

"He does need to go. PSV plays absolutely terrible football all season long and have been for most if the other seasons under Cocu aswell, on top of that he doesn't make any players better especially young players who get royally ducked by him."

"Sad to see him leave but in the back of my head I knew there was a reasonable chance that he would go this summer. Just not to Turkey..

He is very highly rated by the people who are closest to him, players and staff. A lot of fans seem to forget that.

I think he deserves more credit from the fans. The actual football has not always been very exciting but I think he probably got close to the maximum result out of the squad in the last five years."

"Tbh it's unwatchable most of the times."

"But not just defensive and boring it's just bad."

NB. I have deliberately selected the most negative quotes I can find in an attempt to manage expectations, so people won't be too disappointed if this rumour turns out to be nonsense. It is interesting that some people speak negatively about his influence on young players and style of play.

He sounds perfect, sign him up!

you are missing the point Frank had no managerial experience at all when he came to us.

Yes, well aware of that. I'm not missing anything. As I said, the fact that Lampard had no experience and did OK, doesn't mean that Neville with no experience will achieve anything. Anyhow thankfully non of the Neville clan are in the running for the job at DCFC, so not much mileage in further discussion.
