David
Derby manager Nigel Clough is leading the chase for Notts County keeper Kasper Schmeichel. The Dane, 23, has been paid up by the League Two champions and is available on a free transfer. Birmingham and Tottenham are also interested in Schmeichel. Derby have opened talks to sign on-loan Wigan striker Tomasz Cywka, 21, on a permanent basis. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1269868/Derby-lead-chase-Notts-County-goalkeeper-Kasper-Schmeichel.html?ITO=1490#ixzz0mZ62GKsI

David
Can't see it to be honest, wasn't Schmeichel told he can go on a free before we signed Deeney up for another year? Atkins has also been given a new contract, now when we're trying to trim the wage bill would he really be looking to add another keeper?
Boycie
Sell Bywater obviously, big wages again.
David
Isn't Schmeichel meant to be on 'Premiership wages', that must be why they are letting him go for free, to get rid quicker.
Boycie
He must know that Notts was a one off, he won't get that money in his next contract.
David
Holds out for a Premiership move he would get those wages, he might not fancy warming Spurs bench after leaving Man City for first team football, but Birmingham are losing Joe Hart at the end of the season. Boycie
Joe Hart won't want to warm the bench either though?
David
Yes but if Joe Hart goes up for sale do you think he'l end up back at one season wonders Birmingham or a club like Villa and Everton?

Scorchedturf
This would be a disastrous signing, he really has the most appalling attitude (he's a ******* tosser ), and he's so small (he's practically a midget), and he'd want the wages of 2 decent keepers for being crap. David
Birmingham are getting Ben Foster, doubt Schmeichel will go to sit on Brum's bench after leaving Man City for first team football.
