Good attendance, 27.5k. The pricing was £27 - £29 which is pretty good.

WBA looked comfortable on the ball. Only saw the 1st half and thought Forest looked ok going forward but bombscare at the back.

Feast before the famine.

They might be a complete mess on the playing side of things, but credit where credits due they have been getting a lot of people through the door recently. Last season the average was 28k which puts them above us and below only Leeds and Villa.

Makes a difference now they are a one (league) football club town.

Their season tickets are really cheap though, and kids get in free for a tenner.

They lap up these “special offers” do the red dogs.

They are, but unlike their fans making up nonsense about thousands free with mobile phone contracts, I prefer to just actually applaud them for it. Fill your ground, any means necessary.

Good - we used to do similar things did we not? Our attendances in the Rush era were all made up though, so no idea if they worked for us. Personally I agree  with @Srg - they should be trying to fill the ground by any means they can, which we seem to have given up on of late.

Free season tickets with poo BlackBerry phones. Doubly not worth it ?

Leeds on Saturday sounds like a good game to get our season started..
