Huge win today, well done lads ?

Effectively settling up a Q/F against the Kiwis now, all to play for.

Different gravy with Roy and Plunkett in the side. Thought Ben Stokes was fantastic again today. Nice to see us taking our catches too. Woakes' was an absolute belter.

Stokes is in stellar form with the bat at the moment.

The confidence Roy exudes seems to spread through the whole line up when he plays, and helps to give Jonny the time to play himself in a bit.

Seems like every time he and Bairstow put together a start we go on to win. Love watching Roy bat, he's just so destructive. Never been that much of a one day cricket fan (absolutely love test cricket though) but this team has changed all that. Fingers crossed for the Kiwi game. Going to be a nail biter I reckon! ?

The game was made even more special, as at times it must have felt like an away match. The Indian support brings colour and noise to the game. Silencing the crowd didn’t allow the middle order to feed off that atmosphere.

They said on the radio India had only chased down a score of 300 or more,  3 times out of 12 since the last World Cup; of those 3 Kohli had scored a hundred or more twice. That was the turning point for me.

Man love for Buttler and Roy. Heard the explanations for not picking Roy for Tests. Especially from Swann who gets wound up by it...... But I’d have him in at drop of a hat, he can be so brutal. Wonderful to watch.

Anyone give any any credit to the conspiracy theories flying about concerning the lack of a concerted Indian run chase? I get the India-Pakistan rivalry but surely they wouldn't be chucking games just to spite Pakistan, would they?

No, they wouldn't. And certainly not in such an obvious way.

Booked the day off for this. Fingers crossed the rain doesn’t intervene. Arise Sir Jason Roy. So much on his shoulders, his power hitting is phenomenal, Aussies do their homework so they’ll be targeting with the slips no doubt
