Spoilers, this’ll be it:

released:

Cole, Olsson, Ambrose, Pearce (already joined millwall), butterfield, Blackman, nugent

in talks: roos, Bryson, Johnson

Despite the mistake yesterday, hard not to offer Roos a new contract, he won’t be on a big amount anyway, Johnson probably does deserve one but only if he’ll agree to reduced terms, same with Bryson.

sorry to say this, but I'd be quite happy for us to lose a few that are in contract as well. A decent cameo from Zoon at Wembley isn't enough over a season and too many no-shows from Lawrence for example.

You can’t just release him, we’d take a huge hit on FFP.

Whilst all this is all incredibly relevant it really does depend on who our manager is next season and if lampard stays as I think he should then get on with it but we need clear noises and the Chelsea stuff to go away

Would be genuinely gutted if we extend Bryson and Johnson. Sentiment removed, Bryson has done nothing for 3 years now and can't actually stay fit anymore. Johnson's replacement has already been signed and a few games towards the end of the season does not change him from being extremely limited.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see these players going on permanents too (if we can find takers), freeing up transfer funds and wages:

carson, Mitchell, Lowe, Forsyth, wisdom, huddlestone, Thorne, Mcallister, anya, Martin

So is Roos this year's Keough? Pathetic.

Seems so doesn't it - He's still a relatively inexperienced keeper and he made a mistake - People need to get over the blame game and look forward instead - These things happen, just look at De Gea (best keeper in the world IMO) at the end of this season

Of the 2, I’d favour keeping Johnson, think shinnie is more of a Bryson replacement if anything. Clearly Bryson is still a big character around the club, if he’s on reduced terms and is an option in the squad when fit, think he’s probably worth keeping.

At the end of the day roos isnt good enough to be no1 keeper and lampard obviously knows that thats why we have been linked to 3/4 keepers carson will be gone, roos if he stays will be our no2 and who ever comes in will be our no1

Based on the comments Morris made about the effects of releasing big money signings, i’d be shocked if Johnson doesn’t get another year

Me too, don’t get the Johnson hatred by some, he’s playing miles better under Frank. If he stays though, they would surely look to offload Huddlestone with Shinnie coming in.

Maybe so but to talk about ripping up his new contract, clearly on the back of a couple of mistakes yesterday, is just pathetic.

Agree with this completely.

Roos isn't good enough for us as No1 keeper but makes a very good No2 when called upon. For me he doesn't command his area confidently enough, and at this level, you need to.
