If you don't mind paying up, some Club Wembley ticket holders (i.e., I assume, the people who have Club Wembley tickets for every game at Wembley) are selling theit tickets on https://www.livefootballtickets.com/fixtures/championship-play-off-final-tickets-football-league-championship-play-off.html

I was tempted, but the £65 per ticket service fee on top was the final insult!

I noticed that the tickets for the Villa end are more expensive

How many of these newbies will be posting and interacting on this forum after the match I wonder?

And will any of them be going back to their villa forums?

Desperate people can do desperate things to get a ticket. Maybe these newbies flying in from all over the world are genuine or maybe it's a desperate brummie pulling on the heart strings, to get a ticket.

Remember, there are far more regular villa fans missing out than Rams fans.

Or am I being too cynical? ?

Thanks to one of the many fine members of this site I have just secured a spare ticket. Being a humble tradie I do find it hard to say what I feel but the members on this site fucken rock. (Sorry Dave better turn the swear meter up to 11). I just can’t thank the members that have gone out of their way to help enough. I owe all of these people a shout. I leave tomorrow night, end up in Derby Thursday arvo then head to London Sunday. If anyone wants to catch up for a drink I’ll be in downtown Derby Thursday to Saturday night. Now I’ve just got to tell the boss I’m disappearing for a while.?

In my opinion Derby’s ticketing policies are designed to generate sales of season tickets and memberships.

The first period of play off final sales will have encouraged fans without season tickets to buy season tickets for 2019/20 to enable a guaranteed play off final ticket. The second period of sales debacle taught fans the benefit of having a season ticket if this occurs again.

Away tickets are sold to fans prepared to pay for away membership to guarantee a ticket.

I can’t think of any other logical explanation!

Didn't they allow 3 game pass holders as well?

My cousins husband ( st holder) has informed me he has a ticket for his dad who fancied a day out and has no interest in football whatsoever .  This sort of thing drives me mad .   If this has happened on a regular basis, Villa are likely to have a much more vociferous backing on the day the way they have done things .  It may make all the difference .

It could work to our advantage too. They may not moan either.

About right, sell the allocation as quickly as possible while rewarding season ticket holders
