ronnieronalde
He could just as easily be the "next" Michael Appleton/Paul Clement as he could the next Eddie Howe. The amount of times the next best thing comes through, only to be bombed out within 6 months is frightening. They go on a course, they learn ALL the buzzwords like passing lanes (what the actual duck?), transitions and "restarts" (the new word for set pieces) the press and the Sky pundits go mental over them, then they've actually got to do the job. I'd love for someone to be able to prove that taking your UEFA A license actually makes you a better manager. I bet the scheme has many more failures than successes, that's for sure. I quite like Potter so hope he does well but it's a huge risk for a club that is still at the stage where anything outside of the bottom 3 should still be considered a success. He needs to get off to a decent start otherwise the fans AND his players won't stand for him.
