Favours from Forest and Hull

Forest have Sheffield United away and Middlesbrough at home to play. They could do us a favour and at least beat M'Boro at home. Hull City have Westbrom away, Sheffield United and Bristol City at home. Favour required against Bristol City in the last game(if its needed by then). Villa not home and dry yet and if they require points in their last two matches, it would be nice that Leeds could be closer to Norwich going into them games (Villa have Leeds away followed by Norwich at home).

This is soooooo tight to call for Promotion

This is why even if Derby lose tomorrow and Bristol win it’s still not over!! Points will be dropped. Bristol at Hillsborough on Monday and they finish with Millwall and Hull away - not easy. The key will be the Bristol away match. We lose that it’s over. We draw, then we’re probably going to need to beat both Swansea and the baggies. Boro have the easiest run in by a mile!! They could well sneak it so we’re probably going to need 76 points.

It will go to the wire and hopefully we can make it go to the last day as fancy our chances at home to the baggies who will have nothing to play for!!

Realistically i think the only team who could catch Villa are Bristol. We only need to get 6th though, which is still doable. Realistically we need to beat Birmingham with Bristol only playing Reading. If we win every game we will be in the playoffs, but we havent really put a run of wins together all season so far and we'll need to start winning away from home again.

Boro only have crap teams like Forest, Reading and Rotherham to play though, so they could still do it as well.

You’ve been telling us to forget the play offs for weeks now so why does tomorrow’s result matter?

The penny might drop for all those that think we will still get promotion. After all if we cant beat blues away we dont deserve to be in the play offs, against the likes of Leeds and Villa.

Not only did Birmingham go to Leeds and beat them at Elland Road 2-1, they also beat them 1-0 at St Andrews earlier this month.

You can’t P on my chips, I’ve already eaten them. EI EI EI O!

Despite Birmingham beating Leeds home and away?

Teams Villa have lost/drawn to this season: Blackburn, Brentford (twice), Bristol, Forest (Forest 10 men), Hull, Ipswich (Ipswich 10 men), Leeds, Milwall, Norwich, Preston (twice), QPR (twice)Reading (twice), Sheff Utd (twice), Sheff Weds, Stoke (twice), West Brom (twice), Wigan.

Teams Leeds have lost/drawn to this season: Birmingham (twice), Blackburn, Brentford, Forest (twice), Hull, Middlesbrough (twice), Milwall, Norwich, QPR, Sheff Utd, Sheff Weds, Stoke, Swansea, West Brom.

Teams in bold would be below Birmingham if not for the points deduction.

I suppose neither Leeds nor Villa deserve a place in the playoffs then. Especially Leeds considering they lost both games against Birmingham.

We had this the other week when we failed to beat Brentford, how can we expect to finish top 6 and compete with Villa if we can’t little old Brentford.

I demand to see a league table for each teams results against Birmingham.

Top 3 are the only ones allowed to go up.

We need a win to go up, with a win by two goals winning the league.

Stoke and Leeds could escape relegation if results go there way. Leeds will be hoping for Birmingham to win at least 2 of their final 3 games, whereas Stoke will be hoping for Birmingham to win the lot, with a 2 goal loss for Rotherham on Monday, and Reading to get smashed by 3 goals on the final day of the season.

You prabably find both Villa and Leeds have won the odd away game this year.

Not really sure where we lay in the current form table- but you never get a poor bookie thats for certain.

We are 8th in the form table for last 6 games. Only wierd ones above us are hull and Reading. Bristol are 10th and Boro 15th.

Villa have won 8 away games, Leeds have 11 wins. Derby have 6 and have yet to win away in 2019. But if we draw at St Andrews its not the end of the world, we have 2 more away games to recitify this.
