Pearl Ram
Yeah, just been reading about it on the BBC website, sad news, I liked him as a player, it was a brave winger that took liberties with Tommy Smith but he could play a bit too. RIP.
eddie
Even I cheered when he scored in the 1977 European Cup Final.
RamNut
Sad. One of the old school. Any maybe another of the players who have suffered dementia for heading the heavy leather ball. RIP even though you hacked down Hector.
GB SPORTS
Yes great player deffo old school and probably who I modelled my playing style other than the great Dave Mackay. The fact he played for the bin dippers and still hold him esteem is a measure of the man.

Scousers next to us on the Popside could not believe it : "Did you see that, he left Smithy on the floor". We took great delight in telling them "aye, and he's still at school"! Mucker1884
A true legend as I "got into football" through my pre and actual teens. Right up there as one of the best, in the best team (at that time). He won't be the last such legend to go, as time passes us all by, but that doesn't diminish the sadness felt when I heard the news last night. I know we get inundated with these 1 minutes silence/applause these days, but I'd happily add my own single minute tribute to salute him and wave him off. He's a part of my most cherished football-related memories, and he has my respect. RIP, Sir. xxx
