David
Derby County have rejected enquiries for three of their key players – Paul Green, Miles Addison and Kris Commons (pictured). Some fans have criticised the club for allowing Giles Barnes to join Premier League club Fulham on loan with a view to a permanent deal. Derby feel the Barnes’ move is in the best interests of all parties and say the player wants another opportunity in the Premier League. But chairman of football Adam Pearson has revealed how interest in other Rams players has been knocked back. “We have received a number of enquiries from a range of clubs, including Premier League clubs,†said Pearson. “We have knocked every single one back because they are not in the best footballing interests of the club.†Striker Emanuel Villa is now unlikely to leave Derby in the transfer window despite interest from clubs in Greece and Switzerland.[url=http://therams.co.uk/stories/derby-rejected-interest-in-green-addison-and-commons]http://therams.co.uk/stories/derby-rejecte...son-and-commons Good news, 1) shows the players must be doing something right to have clubs interested 2) the club are not skint otherwise they would of been sold on. M.M
Good. It did make me wonder yesterday why last season AP said we woukd definitely be in europe in three years time and now we are considering selling our better players. Glad this rumour has been knocked on the head then
David
Bit shocked to be honest, just thought it was tabloid rumours. Wigan must be one of the clubs with Steve Bruce at PP the other week.

David
A pre-season tour in Denmark he probably meant, just trying to get us excited
M.M
No it was during the whole 39 game thing. He came on RD and said he is favour of it but it doesn't really matter because Derby will be in europe by then anyway. This was despite us not having won in about 3 months
