Large employers tend to move their operations to countries where wages are lower in order to cut labour costs. There doesn't seem to be a way around the problem until wages around become more equal, thereby leveling the playing field. So Brexit isn't the problem then... Brexit merely has the potential to make an already difficult situation worse. And there are a lot more issues at stake with Brexit apart from the manufacturing sector, obviously.
