So what you're saying is not everything I read in the media is true?!?  Damn, better stick to reading The Guardian, they never let me down.

No - not saying that. I'm saying that you forgot to make up your own mind on this specific story

Stressful weekend? You seem a bit uptight for first thing Monday morning!

I took an impractical headline and made a cheap joke about it at Labours expense.  @eddie replied in kind, I give him the haha emoji, done and dusted.

I'll put my sensible head back on, just gotta remember where I left it...

No, the prime minister is, and always has been in charge, hence why Davies left his post.

I don't see anyone strongly implying all upsides.

Free trade deal to continue with South Korea I see, maybe there will be some upsides...not the apocalypse predicted by Remainers. I thought these trade deals would take up to 10 years to sort?

You run your own business?  Really?

Trade deal with EU, travel distance to furthest EU member 2,235 miles (Cyprus if you need help).  Distance to South Korea 5,500.

So you have to factor in a minimum of twice the distance to move goods, factor in over twice the time.  I'll let you figure out how that makes it not an upside.

Dyson has moved his business to Malaysia.  Do you know why?  Because Malaysia has a tariff free trade deal with the EU, after brexit, if it happens, the UK will not.  He has done the maths and even with shipping costs, it is better for him to deal with the EU, rather than the UK post brexit.  He wins either way.  EU way bigger market than the UK, especially as he is moving into electric cars, and this lame duck country are miles behind mainland Europe.

So are UKIP, if you still count them as a political party!

I think that aligning with wing nut robinson, and the complete collapse of the EU vote, has led them the way of any political party who associates themselves with a get rich quick conman, ie EDL.

I notice that you are choosing to ignore that the company said it has nothing to do with Brexit?

I assume for balance you will provide a list of all companies that left the UK before Brexit and attribute this to being part of the EU?

Self employed tradesman?

Old article, but you can start there.

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/brexit-companies-leaving-uk-list-job-cuts-eu-no-deal-customs-union-a8792296.html

Perhaps you can get one of your employees (if you have them, if not a random stranger) to show you how too use a search engine, small tip, there are more than one, and most are way better and less filtered than 'the big one'.

Unlike you, I use a myriad of resources, to back and substantiate the facts.

I won't have time to Google the list will be too busy looking up what the word myriad means. Being so thick, I thought it was a building in Egypt.

Did any businesses ever leave the UK before the Referendum was announced? Oops sorry I'll get one of my slaves to show me on Google.

No idea, but this is what is happening.

Feel free to shut your eyes, put your fingers in your ears and shout 'nononnononononono'.

You have no idea whether our manufacturing industries had been depleted prior to the Brexit vote? And all of this while we were a member of the EU. Feel free to pretend this didn't happen.

Yes I do, you just have a poor memory.  It wasn't being a member of the EU that depleted our manufacturing.  Carry on with your denial mode, makes me chuckle.

Boris wants tax cuts for his mates, shock horror. And conveniently raising the limit to 80k a year (MP's earn £79k a year).

Paying for it from the no-deal "savings". With Boris looking the favourite to become PM,  I'm not delighted with how the two main parties would inevitably be a battle of Socialism vs Capitalism. Neither of these ideologies work on their own. There needs to be a blend of both. The perfect opportunity for a centralist party to grow in popularity.

It's quite clever really, but somewhat blatant.

The broad demographic of the people who will actually choose the next Prime Minister just happens to include an awful lot of rich pensioners, so Boris is saying "Vote for me, and I promise to pay you for those votes".

What they fail to realise, of course, is a Boris Promise (TM) is worth precisely diddly squat.

All of this despite the amazing trade deals the EU put in place for us?
