The biggest tomatoes I've ever seen are those that grow on sewage works. They advise against eating berries, veg, etc thats growing on a sewage works though because they tend to be full of heavy metals from the sewage.

They used grow tomato’s in the sewage works grounds because the human digestion system can’t break down or dissolve tomato seeds. They collected lots of them, plus they had good fertiliser to put on em.

Or sweet corn husks.

Fun fact.

Same thing happened on Surtsey back in the 1960s.

Scientists were studying which plants would be the first to colonise the newly-emerged volcanic island, and were they surprised to find tomatoes growing. That's why scientists undergoing similar studies (e.g. on Antarctica) now have to ensure that everything they bring to their place of study is taken away again - including poo.

Zidane actually had a lot more experience within Real's managerial setup than that, though. He was an adviser to Mourinho from 2010 to 2011, sporting director from 2011 to 2012, manager of the U17s from 2012 to 2013, assistant manager to Ancelotti from 2013 to 2014, and only then was he made coach of the reserve team. That's six years of working exclusively within Real Madrid for him to learn from.

Exactly. Just look at that CV

12 months making Jose’s coffee

12 months DofF? Ie Handshaker

12 months managing kids

1 decent year as an assistant

All within the bubbled world of Madrid and no decent exposure

cut and thrust of the championship for me

They use to just pour pure untreated human sewage on the fields next door to the works as well, but now there are high concentrations of heavy metals in the soil. Sewage needs to be treated and sterilised if it is to be used as fertiliser in the uk. One of the main reasons North Korea has problems with stomach worms is because they spread untreated sewage onto all their fields.

...slightly on topic, my job is chief soil tester, if you ever want to know the arsenic, lead or poo level in your back garden give me a shout...

What about the spread of untreated sewage on the forum?

Wonder if we’ll see plenty of daily express/mail worms in future?

I don’t want frank to leave he has done well in his first season he has raised the club profile brought the fans together and got us some excellent loans (which we would never have got if not for frank) also blooded some youngsters. He has also made a few tactical errors (imo)for example some  team selections.

I have now come to the conclusion that he is going purely on the fact there is no one else in the frame for the Chelsea job surly if it was not a done deal there would be more media talk re other candidates

I think that another year with Derby would be better but now just want an end to all  this speculation so we can get on signing some players

Has anyone ever bought the cheaper tinned tomato’s compared to the ready chopped one’s and cut them up in the tin with a sharp knife while feeling smug?

Come on,

Once, poo idea, too much effort involved...

This fella claims he ran into Mel at Markeaton Island Esso and he said he was staying. But (if it happened) that could just be providing a confident answer despite an uncertain reality, which is common among businessmen.

Poor Mel. He's in such a tiz about this sorry state that when somebody suggested sending Frank an SOS to come home he totally misunderstood and ended up here.
