Yes IMO it is time. The sad thing is if Frank let’s this drag on much longer without saying something he will end up souring his relationship with a good proportion of the DCFC fan base whether he goes or stays which will be a great shame given we all had such a blast last season riding the FLDCFC train. Appreciate much of this hype & speculation is not of his doing & his PR team will be advising him how to handle matters but there comes a time when as an individual you have to say ‘enough’ and take control of a situation yourself.

Absolute nonsense. Why on earth does he need to say anything? He has a job, he's already said he wants to keep that job, he hasn't been officially approached by the supposed interested hiring club. In HIS world, where he's probably enjoying a family holiday, this is not even on his radar.

And blooming amazing on my Greek Island.( not my personal island, obviously )

30 degrees, calm turquoise sea, white sand, nymphs frolicking in scanty beach wear, ice cold beer beckons but it’s a bit early so about a hour or so basking and reading first ??

Which island you on?

People forget how long before the Roman era Chelsea were not a glamorous club. Around the time I worked in Chelsea in the early 70s, the place was fashionable, yes... but the football club wasn’t. Their ground was a dump, and their crowds were low.

Frank Sinclair’s first game, in 1991, and Jody Morris was in the team.. attendance 12,603.

Yep there was a time we were a bigger club... sadly those times are in the past currently.

If Chelsea wanted Frank they would have identified him way before Sarri finally left. There is just no common sense behind Chelsea waiting to appoint him at this stage. They're dragging their heels for Rafa I think.

SSN *cough* have in the last 5mins said Rafa might be going to China for a £12m contract. Don't shoot the messenger........

Chelsea are renowned for pi££ing about in the off season. Need it sorting, fixtures out tomorrow and players returning soon.

They would have known he was going for atleast a week before him officially leaving,  I would expect news by the end of this week or it will start to become abit of a joke.

But what if Lampard isn't their first choice? What if they have 3 managers that they are interested in and want to speak to all of them before making a decision?

Chelsea are probably in no hurry. After all they can't sign any players at the moment, so the squad is all sorted pretty much.

It wasn't 1991 - we finished bottom of the league that season. Strangely enough, opening game of the season was away at Chelsea - first game after the 1990 World Cup, remember the whole ground giving Shilton a chorus of 'England's Number One'. Also remember getting escorted by the police with the Chelsea fans singing 'it's a long way to Fulham Broadway'.

It’s going to happen

Why wouldn’t it.

Possibly people's attitude towards anything you post is down to your record of being 'right' on previous occasions?

I was right about Rowett going to Stoke first on here

You ridiculed me on that as you always do.

Hope Derbyshire can save innings defeat today.
