Mel Morris to put the club up for sale SHOULD Derby fail to win promotion....

Blackman, Butterfield, Pearce, Martin, Nugent, Johnson, Bryson, Anya leaving could be looked at as slashing the wage bill. Those out on loan you would imagine are only having a percentage of their wages covered.

Martin and Anya could prove to be difficult to move on permanently again though, Anya especially having not played regular football for a long time now.

Only 3 currently would make the match day squad, this is where your Bird, Sibley, Mitchell-Lawson’s should be unsung pre season to impress and come through and replace, Luke Thomas and Kyle McAllister would also return.

Obviously the loanees would need to be replaced, although I’m confident that Frank’s little black book gives us a huge advantage in bringing a couple more in on loan.

Hopefully we could get Hudson-Odoi, help with his development a little like we have with Mount. Or that Foden lad from Citeh.

Shows that we are either struggling to meet FFP, or that MM has lost interest and is looking to sell, if we are only bothered in taking players on loan, especially when our scouts are finding us hidden gems like Mbappe

They’re full England internationals wanted by Champions League teams. I expect they’ll be up for a move to Derby though. I wonder what Sterling is up to next season as he doesn’t seem to play every game at City. ?

He's been really really impressive at St Mirren!

Derby Telegraph say Anya’s contract expires in at the end of next season. Mattin’s also ends in 2020:

David didn’t say their contracts were expiring this summer (see bold text)

Only at Derby County could you hear about a story where we had paid “scouts” hundreds of thousands of pounds for them to tell us to sign Mbappe ?

Could only have been more 'Derby' if we had actually managed to sign him for  £1m only to find he didnt have a passport.
