How Lampard Avoided the February Slump

He moved it forward a few months.

The slump started on 17th December with the 0-0 draw with Forest. Only won 3 out of the next 12, 14 points from a possible 36; extrapolated over the course of the season that would be 56 points - squarely mid table.

Now, of course, I’m not saying this side would get relagated -  you can make any point you want through manipulating stats - and the side showed it’s potential with its September to November, but people saying this is the “February Slump” or think it’s a 2-3 game blip are being naive - Derby have been poor for 10 weeks now and this is probably our weakest first XI, with our least experience manager, since the Morris era started.
