I've never been to Old Trafford (cricket). We were going to go today, but the weather forecast was awful and it's cold, so we have passed.
jimbo jones
Lancashire set 239 for Derbyshire to win. Not a huge target, but still needs 3 or 4 to bat well to chase it.

Went to Hampshire v Lancashire in the Sunday League in Southampton in the early 1990s (was £4 to get in and it was about the only place with a bar open all sunday afternoon back then). I met Lancashire cricket nerd, who said "Ah'm a huge cricket fan me, got all the Wisdens. Back a long way. Well, till 1988". It was 1991 from memory. And there was about 5 of them doing the "la la la" thing. It has haunted me to this day........?
jimbo jones
68-1 so far, seems slow going, not many boundaries around.

jimbo jones
That Madsen/Reece partnership was a joy to watch. the critchley run out was unfortunate, he’d just started to get going, and he’s probably our best player for plundering boundaries in the last overs, Hughes did get a couple, but we could have done with a couple more, but it’s still a good total.
